Temperamental fridge with too many flaws for the price

I have had this fridge for about four years (the same family of appliances, E522B), and the verdict is that its looks, efficient use of space and small footprint (which is a must if you have limited space) are almost outweighed by flaws that are unforgivable for this price range. First, thePROs:Small footprintGreat looks, clean, classy, angularEfficient use of spaceLots of nifty features and nice touches you'd expect for the priceAcceptably energy-efficientBUT here come theCONS:Dents easily - out of nowhere, it's enough for someone to walk by itIt's mechanically unreliable - the ice tray quit working years ago, the screen is erratic and either works, works partially or not at all, some compartment doors snapped out within the first six months, etc.It's expensive to fix, even a service diagnostic call will cost you a bundleFisher & Paykel customer service is horridBottom line: if you can find a similar size fridge from someone else, buy it - you'll save a lot of money, headaches and frustration. It is a shame really because I really do love my fridge - but it's been a thorn in my side for most of the time I've owned it,

This refrigerator was installed in our kitchen in Dec 2012. We have a small kitchen and wanted a narrower, taller refrigerator and this one fit the bill. It is perfect for two adults--I'd wish for more space if we still had kids at home. It is good looking. I am finding it easy to clean and maintain. I've always had a one door refrigerator and like having the two doors (bottom is actually a draw). The freezer space is adequate and the pullout drawer within the freezer helps organize freezer foods. We've never had an ice maker before and so far it is working properly. The water dispenser on the door could be improved. It does drip sometimes. The one inch "shelf" will fill with water and dribble down the front of the fridge door. It doesn't happen all the time but is beginning to happen more frequently. The vegetable/fruit bins keep food fresh for quite awhile. I have had to fuss with the plastic sheet that is installed between the bin drawers and attached shelf. There is no explanation as to how to remove and replace it when you need to clean. Overall, I find this refrigerator to be solidly built and designed with efficiency in mind. May it last in this day of throwaway appliances. Time will tell.
