Try A Different Brand

I have owned this refrigerator for over a year now. I've corresponded with KitchenAid's customer service and had three repairmen come by to inspect it. Bottom line is that a design flaw causes a noise that I can only describe as a chain saw very slowly cutting through a metal pipe. It's very irritating. And you never know when the sound will occur. If I had it to do over again, I would *definitely* have tried a different brand.
